The work combined the demands of an industrial processing facility with the buildings, utilities and services needed by the client’s on-site team.

01 / PROJECT SCOPE
Concrete production on site
A dedicated on-site batching plant produced and supplied concrete for the facility’s reinforced-concrete structures, foundations and associated civil works. Establishing concrete production at the site supported the project’s extensive concrete requirements.
02 / PROJECT SCOPE
Foundations and industrial civil works
The civil scope included reinforced-concrete substructures and foundations for process equipment, pedestals, pipe-rack foundations and pipe sleepers. KATO also constructed miscellaneous concrete structures and foundations required for the processing facility.
03 / PROJECT SCOPE
Infrastructure across the site
Site works brought together stormwater drainage, internal roads and access routes, earthing works and other civil infrastructure supporting the facility. Construction activities required coordination across multiple work packages within the oilfield development.
04 / PROJECT SCOPE
Accommodation and facilities for the client team
KATO established and managed an accommodation and administrative camp for the client’s management and supervisory personnel. Facilities included equipped residential units, offices, commercial kitchens, dining halls, recreational halls, a gymnasium, prayer facilities, toilets and showers.
The camp’s infrastructure included internal roads, water supply and distribution, sewage collection and disposal, firefighting systems and supporting utilities.
